FUEL sports yoga
Tuesdays | 6:30pm Thursdays | 6:30pm Lovingly referred to by our clients as "yoga for people who don't do yoga". More physically intense than traditional Yoga classes, with less of a prioritization on flexibility. This is a form of Sports Yoga and is designed with the more athletic and driven individual in mind. It's a blend of traditional Hatha (physical) and Vinyasa (flowing) movements, as well as powerful movements, core exercises, traditional sports warm ups, and just enough flexibility to be athletic. FIRE sports yoga Mondays | 6:30pm Wednesdays | 6:30pm A step further into the flexibility of traditional yoga classes from the FUEL yoga classes. You get the flexibility benefits of a traditional Yoga session with the addition of strengthening and conditioning. RESET restorative yoga Fridays | 6:00pm This Yin-based restorative class is designed to be therapeutic, cooling and restful with the focus on deeper tissue, ligaments, joints and bones. Suited to those comfortable with pushing themselves in their flexibility, this class gives you a chance to RESET from the hectic pace of everyday life, focus on your breathing, and challenge yourself. RISE vinyasa yoga Saturdays | 10:00am This Slow flow Vinyasa class Will awaken your body and mind, and get you ready to RISE and shine! Suitable for all skill levels, RISE offers Movements to improve strength and balance while staying connected to your breath. The practice moves through poses to help improve energy flow in the body & strengthen the muscles. With smooth transitions and deep stresses to help release connective tissue and improve circulation, this class will leave you feeling ready to take on the day! STRIDE running program March- May June-August September-November STRIDE Running Program is a $300 THREE MONTH MEMBERSHIP Whether you are new to running, returning to the sport, or are an experienced runner looking to improve your form and performance STRIDE Running Program is for you! This running program is aimed towards individuals looking for distance running goals ranging from a 5k to a full marathon. STRIDE was created with the goal of developing skills through encouragement and accountability. Our STRIDE Coach has extensive knowledge of training schedules, nutrition guidance for training and races, as well as tips on how to build up overall endurance and how to improve your pace/speed. Therefore, no matter what your goals are; big or small, the STRIDE coach is there to answer your questions and help you along your running journey. Your coach will be there to challenge you, encourage you, and share his passion for the sport with you. Your membership includes a standard EXCEL weight room membership and two official training sessions per week during the three month membership. Your program is scheduled around you and your coach's shared availability and includes two weekly running sessions per week and an additional weight room training session each month with your coach. You are also welcome to take advantage of the open weight room membership during your 3 month program. **When you first sign up you will be charged a temporary fee of $15 and asked to provide your Credit Card number within your file. By booking into STRIDE you are giving EXCEL your permission to have your listed CC charged for the full $300. This amount is refundable until 2 weeks prior to the member's start date. The included Weight Room Membership allows for STRIDE Members to sign up for weight room times 8am-8pm Monday through Friday (no less than 20 hours in advance) throughout the term of the membership.** BASE strength TBA Focusing on increasing muscle and force output. Expect movements that target both primary and secondary muscle groups in order to achieve the best metabolic response possible. PEAK conditioning TBA Focusing predominantly on increasing work capacity. This class targets muscular endurance and cardiovascular efficiency improving overall metabolic function. Focusing on movement performance while managing fatigue with the added benefit of maximum caloric burning. DRIVE kettlebell TBA Focusing on improving neuromuscular signaling necessary to complete functional and athletic movement patterns with dynamic resistance. These are great techniques to work the entire body while improving coordination. Expect kettlebell movements including the squat, swing, clean, press, and snatch. This is a conditioning class, working to improve endurance by pushing back against fatigue with proper form is a given. JUDO **On Hold Provided by the Sen-I Judo Club; a family martial arts school that teaches Judo and Goshin Jujutsu, Little Dragons Program that introduces children to the martial arts.
