Who is ETC?
Excel Therapy & Conditioning (ETC) is owned and operated by Dr Sara Hulseberg, DPT, MSPT, CSCS, CSYI. Dr Hulseberg is a local graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School. She completed her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Physical Therapy locally at Springfield College, where she currently teaches, and went on to obtain her Doctorate from Northeastern University.
She is practiced in various fields of Physical Therapy; with a focus in manual therapy, orthopedic and sports injury rehabilitation. Dr Hulseberg is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, making her uniquely qualified in the treatment and strength training of athletes; from novices, to weekend warriors, to D-1 athletes.
Angela Thomas is the Billing and Management Director for ETC. She has had over a decade of experience exclusively in the medical billing field. She has gone through extensive training and is available and dedicated to providing ETC's patients with the optimal level of commitment.
Nick is a Strength and Conditioning Coach with a passion utilizing proven methods for creating a strong foundation in order to build athletes and clients into the best versions of themselves that they can be.
A native of New Hampshire, he is a senior at Springfield College pursuing a degree in Applied Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Performance. His education includes Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Testing and Prescription, as well as advance study in the areas of pain science, nutrition, mobility, and cognitive enhancement.
Nick is the President of Springfield College Team Ironsports, the college’s powerlifting/strongman team. A competitive powerlifter himself, Nick has competed and won his weight class. He has trained with world renowned coaches and athletes, as well as athletes who have competed in the Arnold Class and World Strongest Man. He also has experience training youth athletes in swimming, hockey, and lacrosse. He has experience coaching college and professional athletes within NCAA swimming, baseball, hockey, as well as NHL goaltenders. Through his experience with competing and coaching powerlifting and traditional athletes Nick has developed a method of taking training concepts developed for elite performance and applying them to the everyday athlete in order to most effectively reach a client’s full potential and goals. When he is not training, he enjoys reading, backpacking, and skiing.
The grey wolf is his spirit animal.
