Who is ETC?Excel Therapy & Conditioning (ETC) is owned and operated by Dr Sara Hulseberg, DPT, MSPT, CSCS, CSYI. Dr Hulseberg is a local graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School. She completed her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Physical Therapy locally at Springfield College and went on to obtain her Doctorate from Northeastern University. She is also a mentor with the Level Up Initiative, and an administrator of the #P4520 Foundation.
She is practiced in various fields of Physical Therapy; with a focus in orthopedic, sports injury, and manual therapy. Dr Hulseberg is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, making her uniquely qualified in the treatment and strength training of athletes; from novices, to weekend warriors, to D-1, and Olympic level athletes. Franco Tilli DPT, LMT Franco is a graduate of University of Massachusetts Lowell Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Additionally, he is also a licensed massage therapist, using the manual skills learned in both fields when applying techniques to help facilitate patient recovery. As a physical therapist Franco strives to educate and motivate patients to be an active part in their recovery process to ensure the best possible outcome. He is also certified in Active Release Therapy and utilizes that technique when appropriate for both clients and patients. In his free time Franco enjoys hiking, running, strength training, and golfing. Lisa Kern OTR/L, CBIS, MS Lisa is an occupational therapist that specializes in neurological rehab. She graduated with her B.S., as well as her M.S. in occupational therapy from American International College in 2009. She combines traditional therapies with alternative and complementary approaches to best serve her patients and clients in a holistic manner. Lisa is a CBIS (Certified Brain Injury Specialist), Saebo certified, a Reiki practitioner, and is trained in yoga for neurological disorders. She has a deep understanding that as a therapist we must treat the person as a whole and not just the diagnosis. Lisa has provided care in inpatient hospitals, home care, and outpatient settings over the past decade and will be your biggest motivator for reaching your goals. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and practicing yoga. Tyler Stratton ATC, LMT, CSCS Tyler is another local member of ETC, a graduate from Monson High School who then obtained his BS in Exercise Science/Athletic Training. He is an Athletic Trainer, Massage Therapist, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Tyler has experience working with active people ranging from youth sports and recreation through to the ranks of professional sports. He works hard to keep the players on the ice as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Springfield Thunderbirds Hockey Team, as well as having the opportunity to work with and care for the athletes in the AHL All-Star Classic and the 2019 World's Strongest Man Competition in Bradenton, FL. Tyler takes great pride in helping people accomplish their goals while providing them with the education and life tools to continue a happy, healthy, and successful future with their sports and activities. As part of the Excel T&C Team Tyler will be providing services for athletic rehabilitation, return to play, and sport training. He also brings a unique style of manual therapies including massage, positional release, muscle energy, myofascial decompression/stretching, and dry needling. Sinead Gill OTR/L Occupational Therapist, Power Lifting Coach, Certified Dry Needling Practitioner A graduate of Bridgewater and Bay Path; Sinead has her Master's in Occupational Therapy with certifications in Neurologic Dry Needling for Pain Management and Sports Rehabilitation, Sacro-Iliac Joint Dysfunction, and USA Powerlifting. Sinead grew up in Eastern Mass, moving out the the western part of the state in college, attending Baypath University and obtaining her Master’s Degree in OT. She has a passion for powerlifting and strength sports; as a CrossFit Athlete and competitive Powerlifting Athlete she has an in-depth comprehension of what goes into an athlete’s background, workload, and lifestyle. With a background as a multi-sport athlete, Sinead understands the importance of recovery, improving performance and understanding of movements patterns, and overall function in order for clients to return to doing the things they love. |
